How often should I have an eye test?
We generally recommend having your eyes tested every 1–2 years, even if you are not experiencing any vision problems. Eye tests can detect changes in your eyesight and may also help indicate certain underlying health conditions. Regular eye tests are especially important for children, to monitor healthy visual development, and for older adults, as they can help detect age-related changes such as cataracts and other eye conditions at an early stage.
How long does it take to get my new glasses?
What prescription the client has and the type of lens they need varies how much it takes but most spectacles are ready within 1-2 working days. More specialised lenses, such as surfaced, progressive or prescription sunglasses, may take up to 7-10 working days.
Can I bring my own frame and have new lenses fitted?
Yes, we are happy to fit in new lenses in your own frame. Our Team will handle your frame with care, however older or used frames or frames bought else where might be at a higher risk of damage during the fitting process due to wear and tear or lower quality materials. Customers who provide their own frame acknowledge that it is at their own risk.
Do you offer a warranty on your glasses?
Yes. Our spectacles come with a minimum 2-year warranty against manufacturing defects on the frame and 2 or 3 year warranty on manufacturing lens coating defects such as peeling. The lens warranty does not cover any sort of scratches caused by wear and tear or mis-use.
